I am an independent research consultant with a Master of Commerce degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town.
Between 2009 and 2022, I worked in two strategic research consultancies based in Cape Town, South Africa. During that time my work centred around both primary and secondary research, with a particular focus on consumer experience projects in the low-income housing, financial services, and retail sectors. Now based in Johannesburg, I have been expanding my range of research topics and methods in primary research as an independent consultant.
Over the past twelve years I have led numerous projects throughout the quantitative primary research process, including questionnaire design, survey coding, enumerator training, fieldwork management, data monitoring, data analysis, and reporting. I am also experienced in qualitative research methods, including in-depth interviews, focus groups, and content analysis. In addition, I have worked extensively with a range of secondary data sets across a variety of geographic markets, in South Africa and several other African countries.
I’m passionate about collecting and analysing data that evaluates human behaviours, individual preferences, and household circumstances. I’m excited to bring my survey skills and research experience to new projects, and to collaborate with individuals and organisations across various industries.
